Full-Time Retail Sales Associate
$15.25 to $16.25 per hour. Earn an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates across our national pawn store locations. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire store staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers professionally to process sales, loans, and other transactions. They work with a wide variety of merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.
Responsibilities- Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
- Perform non‑management open/close procedures.
- Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle all cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Answer incoming calls per company standards.
- Effectively communicate the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
- Collaborate with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
- Successfully complete assigned training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willing and able to perform tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
- Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification.
- Willing to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage.
- Minimum age: 18 years old.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Strong desire to work with customers and be team‑oriented.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient basic math skills.
- Cash handling experience is preferred.
- Willing to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer literate and able to operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2‑8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive detailed commission plan information during the interview process.
