Compensation Pay Range
$15.16 - $22.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance incentives or premiums, which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance, and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Essential Job Functions- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak business hours.
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching and mentoring team members, and ensuring team members stay current on their training.
- Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
- Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub to store, and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner, contacting customers upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Utilize the electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and according to procedure.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently, issue refunds accurately with the correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly.
- Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages, and delegate and complete Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure all team members comply with company policies, adhere to posted work schedules, have deviations approved by management, and clock in/out correctly.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying and securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage and lighting, computer hardware, in‑store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.

- Sales Specialist Training
- Assistant Manager Certification
- RSS Certification

- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
