Overview

As the Head of Business Development, you will own the development of new business for Cam : identifying and creating opportunities, building trusted relationships at the most senior levels of partner organizations, and owning the sales cycle from first conversation through contract negotiation and signing. You will set the standard for how opportunities are qualified, structured, and closed, collaborating with Product, Technology, Operations, and NBH partners on complex transactions.

You will also own foundational elements of how Cam  goes to market: refining the sales process and playbook, building Cam ’s market and segment map, and partnering with the Director of Go-To-Market to keep pipeline development, forecasting, and deal execution operating as one integrated motion.

As the Head of Business Development, you will have an opportunity to shape Cam ’s commercial foundation while building your own franchise within it, with direct exposure to Cam  and NBH leadership and latitude to influence strategy, process, and market focus. This role is ideal for an accomplished business development professional who can open doors and close complex partnerships, and who takes pride in building the market intelligence and process rigor that compound over time.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within banking, financial services, or high-growth technology.

  • Experience designing or materially improving sales processes, playbooks, or market coverage models.
  • Driving may be required with this position. Applicants must have a valid driver's license (may not be learner’s, restricted or “to and from work” license) and a driving history that meets the Bank’s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.
Desired Skills
  • Strong understanding of the embedded finance and digital banking ecosystem, with familiarity with the bank regulatory landscape a plus.
  • Executive presence and consultative selling skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at every level of a partner organization.
  • Passionate and motivated self‑starter.
  • A passion for proactively analyzing the market, uncovering trends, and building independent, research‑driven views of where to focus.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately.
  • Ability to think logically in order to analyze situations and make sound decisions.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate issues.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience instilling CRM and pipeline discipline, with working knowledge of Salesforce or similar systems.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to travel – estimated 25‑50% of the time as needed.
  • Flexible scheduling with an opportunity to work remotely as business needs allow.
  • Physical capability to push, pull, lift, bend, raise and hold hands and arms overhead as required.
