Secret. Active and existing security clearance required on day 1.

The candidate will be assigned as the FSO with Collins Aerospace, Global Security Services (GSS), Government Security Compliance (GSC) in Pueblo, Colorado. The role focuses on supporting and providing technical support for organizational compliance, security administration, and customer service support. The position requires flexibility, strong teamwork and communication across multiple levels of the organization, and the ability to coordinate, interpret, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), DoD 5205.07, ICDs, and other government directives.

The role will provide security support to multiple customers and work locations, requiring attention to detail and effective communication.

What YOU will do
  • Perform duties as the Security Control Official (SCO) ensuring compliance with security policies, managing emergency procedures, supporting internal investigations as directed, and coordinating with external vendors. The SCO safeguards personnel, assets, and infrastructure while aligning with company policies and regulations.
  • Lead as the facilities Business Resilience and Crisis Management site lead; complete BRCM documents (Threat Vulnerability Assessment, Business Impact Analysis, Business Incident Response Plans) and facilitate tabletop drills.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Perform tasks related to establishing, maintaining, and enforcing regulations ensuring compliance with USG contracts.
  • Assist in implementing security procedures and practices consistent with company SOPs and government regulations.
  • Provide daily in-person security support to employees; process and maintain personnel records containing sensitive and personally identifiable information.
  • Support Government Security Compliance as assigned.
  • Track and complete security deliverables (DD254s, PERSEC, visitor control, document control, security plans) and demonstrate proficiency across functional areas with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret physical construction standards for restricted/secure areas.
  • Complete the DCSA FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum within six months of hire.
Qualifications YOU Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years' relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
  • Experience interpreting and implementing security requirements from customer-issued DD-254 forms (DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications).
  • Experience conducting investigations – Insider Threat and Workplace Violence.
  • Working knowledge of access control systems (ACS), Camera Surveillance System (CSS), and Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
  • Experience with the National Industrial Security System (NISS) and the Defense Information System for Security (DISS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to perform security tasks outside the specialty (e.g., physical security).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Insider Threat Program Senior Officer (ITPSO) experience
  • Experience with COMSEC account management
