General Facilities Maintenance Technician – Pueblo, CO

Assists in maintaining the safety, functionality, and appearance of Walmart store facilities, equipment, and furnishings through routine and reactive maintenance work under the guidance of the General Maintenance Manager.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Respond to and complete reactive repair work orders from the work order management system for stores and store associates, documenting repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

• 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
• Can move up and down ladders frequently
• Comfortable working at heights frequently
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Able to work in various temperatures
• Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass an MVR report
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade; or 5 years’ experience in the same trades.

Valid Driver’s License and eligibility for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical trade program; license in the related trade in the city or state of employment; intermediate level proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Competitive hourly wage range: $19.00 – $35.00
