Role Description

This full-time Electrician role at Aurora Electric is a hybrid position based in Pueblo, CO, with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation, planning, and remote coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, following all applicable codes, safety standards, and company procedures. The Electrician will perform troubleshooting to diagnose electrical issues, complete necessary repairs, and test systems to ensure proper operation.

Additional duties include reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, preparing job reports, coordinating with team members and clients, and maintaining tools, materials, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in electricity and electrical work.
  • Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Candidates should possess understanding of electrical engineering principles as they apply to practical field work.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices for safe jobsite operations.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Candidates should possess a valid electrician license or certification appropriate for Colorado, and a valid driver’s license.
  • Candidates should possess experience with residential and/or commercial electrical projects; industrial experience is beneficial.
  • Candidates should possess comfort using basic digital tools for documentation, scheduling, and remote coordination.
