Job Description
The Water Restoration Technician is an essential member of the Restoration Team, specializing in mitigating water damage through efficient extraction, drying, and moisture assessment techniques. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this role requires frequent travel within the service area to respond promptly to customer needs and ensure effective restoration services. This position offers opportunities for advancement to supervisory roles, supported by continuing education and cross-training in related trades.
Responsibilities- Perform water extraction and drying setup to mitigate water damage
- Conduct moisture assessments to determine restoration needs
- Document all restoration activities accurately
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns and explain processes
- Entry-level experience in water restoration
- High school diploma or equivalent
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician Certification
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
