• Assist with the design, development, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Help to ensure that vital manufacturing systems are optimized and that they consistently operate smoothly.
• Research, design and develop software systems in support of the production, quality, and shipping activities for products.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance Management Information Systems applications as required.
• Perform other software development duties as necessary.
• Schedule and attend meetings with Operation, Quality, Maintenance, and Shipping users to develop software requirements.
• Provide training and support for custom applications to manufacturing personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or a related field, and four (4) years of application development experience, one (1) of which must have been acquired at a position in the steel manufacturing industry.

• Oracle Database SQL/PLSQL
• Oracle Forms & Reports
• Oracle Apex
• Java Scripts & jQuery
• HTML/CSS
• RESTful Web Services using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
• DBMS Job Scheduler
• GIT Hub/ SVN (Version control tools)
• SSRS
