Position Summary
The primary functions of the Delivery Helper are to load, locate job sites, back up, prepare and restore the job site, and prepare the truck for the following day while maintaining the truck and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Compliance with company, state, and federal guidelines particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel.
- Perform pre‑trip inspections of equipment, paperwork, and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order.
- Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer.
- Secure mud, equipment, metal, and pallets on truck.
- Navigate routes to the job site.
- Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
- Stamina to lift at least 75 lbs. to carry materials such as drywall and joint compound.

- Constantly moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicles onto job site.
- Constantly position self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom.
- Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100 lbs while unloading and loading flatbed.
- Must communicate accurately with managers and coworkers.
- Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritize job sites and deadlines.
- Manage stress depending on customer’s deadlines.
- Multitask.
- Receive information and directions.
- Quickly communicate solutions if problems occur.
- Demonstrate a high degree of sound judgment.

CompensationThe base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $19.00 to $20.91 per hour. Starting wage may vary based on location, education, training, and experience. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime based on business needs. Additionally, associates may be eligible for performance-based bonus programs, commissions, car allowance, automobile and fuel program, and reimbursement for travel expenses in accordance with company travel policy.
