Mastering the Middle Mile

As a Sortation Warehouse Associate, your primary objective is to group and route thousands of packages so they reach the correct local delivery hubs at lightning speed. This rapid, team‑oriented environment requires quick decision‑making and physical stamina.

The Sortation Experience

Work in a sort center is fundamentally different from a traditional fulfillment role. You handle sealed, completed packages that move rapidly on conveyor belts. The atmosphere is loud and team‑oriented, especially during rush periods when you rely on teammates to keep the supply chain moving.

Rapid Package Routing: Read digital routing labels and sort packages into geographic chutes or postal carts.

Pallet Architecture: Build stable, tightly packed pallets of boxes, shrink‑wrap them to prevent transit damage.

Fluid Loading Operations: Use manual pallet jacks to transport wrapped pallets into outbound 18‑wheelers, staging them for drivers.
