Instructor of Business - UT Southern

Position Overview

The University of Tennessee Southern (UT Southern) invites applications for the position of Instructor of Business (Full Time, In-Person, Non-Tenure-Track) in the Johnston School of Business. Reporting to the Chair of the School of Business, this person will teach business courses and provide service to the university and community.

• Teach a full load of courses (15 hours) determined by the School Chair;
• Teach in‑person and online courses in the candidate’s area of expertise;
• Serve on committees as requested;
• Work with learners of all backgrounds;
• Mentor or support students from a wide variety of backgrounds and with differing levels of academic preparedness;
• Employ a variety of teaching methods and styles to effectively meet learner needs;
• Meet weekly office hours and other duties required to meet student and college needs.

• Master of Business Administration or Master of Science in Business with an emphasis in Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
