Adjunct Instructor Business
The University of Tennessee Southern, a liberal arts, four-year university originally founded under the name Martin College, is located in Pulaski, Tennessee, in the beautiful hills of southern Middle Tennessee. The D.W. Johnston School of Business at the University of Tennessee Southern has periodic openings for part-time, adjunct faculty to teach various business courses. The position's principal responsibility is teaching. Further, the position is responsible for demonstrating academic competence in the appropriate subject matter area.
Areas of potential need include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Management, Management Information Systems, Business Law, International Business, Business Analytics, Business Communication, Supervision, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Sport Management.
Requirements include a doctoral degree in the course discipline or closely related area for graduate courses, or an MBA or Master's degree in a qualifying discipline, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of qualifying disciplines for undergraduate courses. Experience teaching at the university level is preferred. A complete application consists of a letter addressing the qualifications cited above;
