Thera Peds Partners is a therapist‑owned and operated organization that partners with schools to provide American Sign Language Interpreter (ASL) services to PreK‑12 students nationwide. As a team of special education providers, we understand the education process, IDEA requirements, and the importance of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Our mission is to deliver high‑quality ASL services while making meaningful connections in a collaborative learning environment.

This is a full‑time, on‑site role as an American Sign Language Interpreter serving a school located in Pulaski, TN.

The Interpreter will provide ASL services to students in the classroom setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for working with students with special needs.

• Full‑time, 37.5 hours/week
• 2026‑2027 School Year (August‑May)
• On‑site, in‑person
• K‑12 Grades
• Coverage for two schools
• Dual support from the District and Thera Peds

• $45‑$55+ per hour ($1,800‑$2,062+ per week)

• ASL Interpretation Certification
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
• Passing written test
• Documentation submitted to CDE
• Fluency in ASL and English
• Strong receptive and expressive ASL skills and ability to interpret classroom instruction and student interactions accurately
• RID certification (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf)
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred
• Interpreter Training Program (ITP) or ASL‑English interpreting degree
• Experience interpreting in K‑12 classrooms
• Knowledge of IDEA and IEP processes
• Background check and fingerprinting
• Ability to support students throughout the school day Organizational and time‑management skills
• Demonstrated tact and discretion in internal and external communications

Employees must be able to perform necessary physical movements such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
