The Maintenance Technician Intern supports the maintenance team in ensuring manufacturing equipment and facility systems operate safely and efficiently. This role provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and environmental standards applicable to the facility.
• Assist in maintaining plant equipment to ensure optimal operating condition.
• Support preventive maintenance (PM) programs and schedules.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues under supervision.
• Learn to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in company systems.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and maintenance goals.
• Participate in training opportunities to build technical and professional skills.

• Exposure to manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems (motors, drives, PLCs).
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, gear‑driven equipment).
• Familiarity with hand tools and maintenance equipment.

• Ability to stand and walk frequently throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, climb, and work in varying plant conditions.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations in a manufacturing environment.
