- As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

Minimum Education
Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
Required Skills- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), within 90 days of hire
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months of hire
- I.V. Competency preferred with intent to obtain within 1 year of hire
- Handle With Care (HWC) preferred
LPN License for the State of Tennessee.
