Registered Nurse (RN), Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Type: Full-Time | Nights
Schedule:
3x12, Days (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available to well qualified applicants
How You’ll Contribute- Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Performs plans of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

- Certifications – Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire;
Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months;
Basic Arrhythmia course within 90 days. - Required Skills – Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work under minimal supervision, perform in a stressful environment, and take appropriate action.
- Experience – One‑year previous experience preferred.
- Licenses – Authorized Registered Nurse with the State of Tennessee or a compact state RN with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
- Education – Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
