This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 19:00-07:00. Weekend hours will rotate every other weekend unless there is a need for additional coverage.
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality care to a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatrics, in a 95-bed acute care facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical/surgical environment.
- Administer medications and monitor patient health and vital signs.
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to plan and evaluate patient care.
- Manage patient documentation and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist in procedures and provide support to patients and their families.
- Current RN or LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
- 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred.
- Must pass Tennessee Abuse Registry check prior to start date.
