Schedule:

3x12, 7p-7a, Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 available to well-qualified applicants.

Location:

Pulaski, Tennessee (Southern Tennessee Regional Health System – Pulaski, part of Lifepoint Health)

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments.
• Document patient care given.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

• Education:
  
  Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Required Skills:
  
  Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire, Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire.
• Licenses:
  Registered Nurse licensed in Tennessee or from a Compact State with proper Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
