• As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

• Current Tennessee LPN license; graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
• Certifications:
  
  AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire;
  Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS) within 6 months; IV competency preferred, intent to obtain within 1 year;
  Handle With Care (HWC) preferred.
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently in a stressful environment.
• Preferred:
  One year of previous LPN experience.
