Dollar General - - - Responsibilities:
Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is properly staffed.;
Provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and identify gaps for coaching or termination.;
Open and close the store as required; personally open at least twice per week and close at least twice per week.;
Evaluate operating statements to identify sales trends, profitability, and shrink; manage inventory planning and ordering.;
Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing, signage, and accurate inventory; ensure cash control and safety.
