Preferred Qualifications:
- Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's License with appropriate endorsement to teach English at the middle school level
- Endorsement in English
- Have experience in curriculum development
- Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
- Have strong written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
- Such other alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or School Board may find appropriate and acceptable
