Hiring Range: Dependent on academic qualifications and previous work experience.

Full Time or Part Time: Part Time

Teach nurse aide classes in the workforce development program.

• Teach nurse aide classes.

• Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia.
• At least two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• At least one year of direct client care or supervisory experience in the provision of long‑term care services. Experience may include employment in a nurse aide education program or employment in or supervision of nursing students in a nursing facility or unit, geriatrics department, chronic care hospital, home care, or other long‑term care facility.
• Minimum associate degree in nursing from an accredited college.
• Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and effective communication in teaching/learning situations.
• Fairness and flexibility in understanding and working with a wide variety of students.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner in a team‑oriented environment.
