Job Overview
New River Community College is a two‑year public institution of higher education. The position is located on the Dublin campus in Pulaski, VA.
Responsibilities- Support the college’s Online Learning program by providing high quality customer service to students and faculty at the Dublin Campus.
- Serve as a liaison for the shared services learning project, ensuring that students are fully informed regarding NOVA critical shared distance learning course information, student progress, and course success.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work hours are limited to 29 hours per week.
May be required to perform additional duties as assigned and to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
Qualifications- Demonstrated ability to use various computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population including students, faculty, staff, and the general public in a professional environment.
- Work experience in an educational environment.
29 hours per week; part‑time.
LocationPulaski – 155, Dublin, VA.
