Responsibilities- Plan and organize all classes taught.
- Keep accurate records of student work and competencies.
- Work with coordinator to identify equipment and supplies to provide hands‑on experience in the classroom setting.
- Work with coordinator to place students in practicum experiences.
New River Community College has an opening for a Pharmacy Technician Program instructor. Qualified candidates with a commitment to serving a diverse student population, including adult learners and at‑risk students, are invited to apply.
The successful candidate must be a pharmacist with a current unrestricted license or a pharmacy technician with at least one-year experience performing technician tasks who holds a current unrestricted registration in Virginia or a current PTCB certification.
The position falls within NRCC’s Workforce Development unit which offers short-term, credential training programs.
