Information Technology Resource Teacher

Pulaski County Public Schools is seeking an Information Technology Resource Teacher for Riverlawn Elementary School. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and be eligible for a Virginia teaching license in elementary school with an endorsement in an appropriate subject area. Demonstrated knowledge of subject content, curriculum, and effective teaching methodology is required. The candidate should be skilled in the use of multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning and able to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, peers, administrators, and parents.

Proficiency in public speaking and written communication to express and/or exchange ideas is essential. The position reports to the Principal/Director of Technology and is exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The salary is based on the 10-month teacher salary scale, with benefits as per standard employee benefit pay scales.
