Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or approved high school equivalency credential.
• Demonstrated competency in the electrical trade.
• Sufficient occupational experience in the electrical trade to meet Virginia licensure requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Virginia teaching license to teach Electricity.
• Ability to meet all Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) and Pulaski County Public Schools employment, background-check, safety-training, and licensure requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current Virginia Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• Completion of a registered electrical apprenticeship program.
• Significant experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work.
• Journeyman-level or equivalent, supervisory, or management experience in the electrical trade.
• Experience with the National Electrical Code (NEC), electrical safety standards, apprenticeship training, or industry credential preparation.
• Additional industry certifications or credentials related to the electrical trade.
• Experience teaching, training, supervising, or mentoring students, apprentices, or employees.

10 months, 200 days, 7.5 hours per day

Salary Level: Journeyman or Master Electrician Licensed Salary Scale: 10 Month Teacher Salary
