Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high‑quality, patient‑centered care aligned with the department’s specifications and applicable state and specialty standards. Working collaboratively with physicians and the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers while demonstrating commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support outstanding patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Asses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests; anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about the patient’s medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow‑up measures. Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
- Teach patients, families, and caregivers about non‑medicinal follow‑up measures such as healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes, and prepare them for future self‑management.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, to be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required, to be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- No travel required.
- No prior experience required.
