Administrative Assistant 3 – VCEA Dean's Office
Pullman, WA. This full‑time, permanent, classified position supports the Dean's Office in the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture.
Responsibilities- Provide professional‑level administrative support to the Assistant to the Dean, Development Operations Manager, and Director of Administrative Services.
- Coordinate projects and support personnel activities to ensure efficient operation of the Dean’s Office.
- Maintain records and databases, prepare reports and correspondence, coordinate calendars and meetings.
- Support employee onboarding and training, and assist with recruitment and personnel processes.
- Assist with development and stewardship efforts, serve as a primary point of contact for visitors and inquiries, and coordinate college events.
- Help ensure projects and operational priorities are completed accurately and on schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of clerical, office or administrative experience; OR an associate’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field plus two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1.
- One (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 2 or two (2) years as an Administrative Assistant 1; OR equivalent education/experience.
- Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to use and assist with office equipment.
- Experience working with the public or in a customer service setting.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with persons of varying levels of responsibility and experience.
- Experience maintaining hardcopy and electronic records/files.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Salary and Position DetailsMonthly Salary: $4,004 to $5,376 (Range
44, StepA–M). Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range with scheduled salary increments per WAC
357-28. This position is overtime eligible.
