Multicultural Student Services Administrative Assistant 2 – 105F-_NPS
OpportunityAs the Multicultural Student Services Administrative Assistant, you will perform a variety of duties to support the daily operations of Multicultural Student Services, Student Accommodations and Disability Resources, the Women’s Center, LGBTQ+ programs, and other multicultural student groups. In addition to providing direct phone and email support, you will assist with administrative and fiscal tasks that align with the Student Affairs Strategic Plan, specifically the goals of Student Engagement, Support and Advocacy, and enhancing the Campus Experience.
You will also help develop and implement office policies and procedures, and coordinate event scheduling.
- Support daily operations of multicultural student services and related units.
- Provide direct phone and email support to students, staff, and external partners.
- Assist with administrative and fiscal tasks aligned with the Student Affairs Strategic Plan.
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate scheduling for events and meetings.
Full‑time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligible. Monthly salary range: $3,738 – $4,980 (Range 41, Steps A–M). Temporary classification term: 12 months.
Location & Work ArrangementPullman, WA. This is a fully in‑person position.

- High school diploma or equivalent AND two years of clerical, office or administrative experience; OR
- One year of experience as an Administrative Assistant 1; OR
- Equivalent education/experience
- One year of higher education experience
- Experience with Windows/Microsoft Office applications
