Sunnyside Preschool and Childcare is hiring a Childcare Float Staff in Pullman, WA

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Childcare Float Staff to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the flexibility to support various classrooms within our center. You will be responsible for caring for children aged 4 months up to 5 years, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.

Hours:

7am-5pm 4 days a week (ten hour days with 1 rotating day off each week)

• Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in various age groups (4 months to 5 years)
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
• Support lead teachers in daily routines and educational activities.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
• Adhere to all childcare regulations and center policies.
• Assist with mealtime, diapering, and toileting as needed.

• Previous experience in the childcare field is required.
• Ability to pass a DCYF Background check Prior to start day.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate practices.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and needs.
• CPR and First Aid certification is required

Minimum Education :
High School or Equivalent
