As the Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2 for the College of Veterinary Medicine, you will assist with the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. This includes assisting students during laboratories and surgeries, providing pre- and post-op care as needed, ordering supplies, maintaining equipment for laboratory use and leading temporary employees.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.

$3,925 - $5,271 | Range 44 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

• A Bachelor’s Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience.

• Must pass WSU radiation safety training exam first time it is available.

• Experience working in a teaching/laboratory setting.

• Experiences working with small and large animals.

• Experience working in a Veterinary Clinic / Hospital setting.
