, you will develop, implement and manage programs and activities, including staff management and associated budgets for the Sport Club Federation, Intramural Sports and Youth programs.

This is a full‑time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Salary$4,061.90 – $4,776.11 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Recreation, Sport Management, Higher Education or related field) and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area to include a minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Demonstrated sport officiating experience.
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
- Master’s degree in Physical Education, Sport Management, Recreation, Business, Higher Education, Student Development or related field.
- Demonstrated success developing and managing budgets.
- Demonstrated experience administering risk management practices for recreation programs.
- Professional experience administering intramural, sport club, and/or youth programming.
- Demonstrated success in personnel training and supervision of multiple part‑time staff.
- Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of recreational programs to a culturally diverse population.
- Certification as American Red Cross First Aid Instructor or Challenge Course Facilitator.
- NIRSA Membership.
