The Non-Thesis option allows students to complete a project instead of a thesis, providing a more flexible format for the project report. This option requires 4 credits of a special problem course and 2 additional hours of coursework, totaling a minimum of 32 credit hours. The coursework for the Non-Thesis option also includes a minimum of 26 hours of graded courses, with at least 12 hours at the 500-level.
