Overview
We are seeking a professional, innovative and detail-oriented individual for our Welding Process Engineer position within our Vertical Integration Division. If you are looking for a welding engineering role supporting new manufacturing initiatives, working to military specifications, and leading cross‑functional projects in pursuit of problem‑solving in world‑class manufacturing facilities, then this position could be for you!
ResponsibilitiesProvide welding engineering support to design, fabrication, and support teams.
Specify, develop, implement, and sustain welding and welding‑related processes.
Improve quality, yield, efficiency, and capacity of welding processes in accordance with strategic objectives.
Apply problem‑solving skills to identify root cause.
Evaluate new equipment and processes.
Interpret results and provide recommendations to management.
You have a B.S. in Welding Engineering or related technical field.
You are knowledgeable in welding metallurgy and GTAW and GMAW processes.
You have strong problem‑solving skills and can effectively manage projects.
You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
You are quick to learn new skills and open to taking on new responsibilities.
You enjoy working in a team environment.
You have experience developing and supporting welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
You have extensive experience working in accordance with standards/specifications, especially military or aerospace specifications.
You have a working knowledge of NDT processes.
You have hands‑on experience with welding and fabrication processes.
Lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 40 pounds frequently.
Sit and/or stand at least 8 hours.
Vision correctable to 20/30 or better.

Associate Welding Process Engineer: $84,200 - $124,500.
Welding Process Engineer: $97,700 - $144,400.
Lead Welding Process Engineer: $115,300 - $170,400.
We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job‑related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
