Contracts Coordinator
As the Contracts Coordinator, you will serve as the subject matter expert on research contracting arrangements while providing specialized support to both the Support & Operations Contract Team and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship team within the Office of Research. You will assist the Support & Operations Contract Team through the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex funding agreements (e.g., industry-sponsored projects, FAR contracts, and international contracts) and non-monetary research contracts.
Additionally, you will review option and license agreements and monitor existing agreements for contractual compliance.
This is a full‑time (100% FTE), permanent position. The position is overtime eligible. Salary is $4,508.70 – $6,763.06 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position; placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications- Ability to assess business and legal risk, make independent decisions based on sound judgment, and collaborate with other offices/officers to problem‑solve and address cross‑cutting issues.
- Ability to interpret, explain, and apply complicated rules, regulations, and policies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience establishing priorities.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- JD or Master’s degree in a related field.
