** The base pay range for this position is $30.04-$46.76 Hourly however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

* Job Title:

** Sleep Tech/Polysomnographic Technician

* Position Overview:

** Conducts sleep studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic services.  Deliver exceptional patient care and adhere to standards and guidelines established by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
** A Day in the Life:
*** Performs diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies.
* Review patient information and assure proper tests being performed.
* Observe and document sleep stages, clinical events, position changes, and other significant events such as cardiac arrhythmias, apneas, hypopneas, and movement disorders.
* Verify integrity of collected data.
* Implement appropriate intervention including bilevel positive airway pressure, supplemental oxygen, etc., including consulting with medical director regarding any concerns.
* Educates patients in sleep study procedures and responds to questions.
* Identify safety concerns and resolve identified issues.
** About You!
**** This Job is For You if You Have:
*** Successful completion of polysomnographic technician program and credentialed as RPSGT by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians.
* BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
* Excellent communication skills with physicians, colleagues, and patients.
* Ability to learn and utilize new technologies.
* Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
