Hospital Account Manager
Full‑time role located in Pullman, WA. Responsible for promoting and providing support for Pacific Medical Hospital Partnerships, meeting quality and performance criteria, and delivering patient care services.
Job Duties- Performs application of orthopedic soft goods and devices such as CPMs.
- Fits braces in the medical center.
- Measures for, orders and fits lumbar‑sacral orthotic body jackets, chair backs, L‑S corsets, ankle‑foot orthotics and other devices as necessary.
- Performs dressing changes using aseptic technique with assistance from nursing personnel and applies soft goods such as CPM.
- Participates in the coordination of inpatient care regarding soft goods placement such as CPM placement and maintenance.
- Screen calls, pages, and emails regarding patient status and reports potential problems to respective physicians and other care providers.
- Acts as a resource to nursing and therapy staff and provides in‑service training as needed.
- Facilitates interaction with custom orthotic and prosthetic care and functions as a patient advocate.
- Works under supervision of nursing and therapy to provide care and service to patients and families; follows direction from clinical staff.
- Communicates and documents all care provided to patient and reports changes in patient condition in a timely manner.
- Collaborates with nurses and other team members to organize and prioritize functions necessary for patient care delivery.
- Demonstrates competency with appropriate soft goods such as CPM per MD orders.
- Maintains annual competencies such as age competency.
- Demonstrates initiative, prioritization and professional accountability.
- Adheres to Medical Center policies, procedures and core values.
- Performs other duties as needed.
- College degree – associate or bachelor's preferred; high school diploma considered with existing experience.
- Excellent communication skills and time management experience.
- Ability to maintain inventory of consigned products.
- Competent in basic Windows operating system (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Email, etc.).
- Background in sports, sports medicine, or human anatomy preferred.
$42,000 to $60,000 annually with expense reimbursement for eligible driving expenses.
