Pay Range
$21.30-$31.89 hourly, variable based on experience and skills.

Work ScheduleMonday through Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM.
Position OverviewThe medical assistant provides professional clinical support to enhance patient care. Duties focus on patient coordination, documentation, and teamwork across multiple clinic sites.
Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, including direct care, information gathering, and transitions.
- Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of patient care within PRH’s model.
- Establish and maintain collaboration with colleagues, patients, and community members to promote teamwork and positive outcomes.
- Plan and prioritize daily clinic operations and patient care plans.
- Interview patients and caregivers to support care planning.
- Document patient discussions, care delivered, and related activities in the EMR per organizational standards.
- Coordinate care for assigned patient panels as defined by standards.
- Make decisions based on professional judgment within legal scope of practice.
- Promote a positive work environment and demonstrate professionalism.
- Train, demonstrate, and supervise new staff and preceptors in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Maintain licensure in good standing within the State of Washington.
- Hold active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Demonstrate technical skills required for the medical assistant role and for the specific clinic.
- Adapt to technology and learn new systems quickly.
- Manage time, tasks, and resources effectively.
- Communicate verbally and in writing with excellence.
- Display strong typing skills and read/write ability to understand policies and instructions.
- Experience in an ambulatory clinic setting.
