Three Creeks Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our interdisciplinary care team. This role supports residents with respiratory needs in a skilled nursing and post-acute care setting, collaborating closely with nursing, therapy, and medical providers to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The Respiratory Therapist will assess, treat, and monitor residents with acute and chronic respiratory conditions while promoting comfort, safety, and optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform respiratory assessments and provide appropriate respiratory treatments as ordered
- Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and other respiratory interventions
- Monitor residents with respiratory conditions and report changes in condition promptly
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members
- Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care and equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards
- Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives as needed
- Associate degree in Respiratory Care from an accredited program
- Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Washington
- Current RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential through NBRC
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary care team
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute, or long-term care settings
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) - particularly Point Click Care
- Flexible availability
