Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Responsibilities
Supporting employees, leaders, and partners with leave‑related questions through email, phone, virtual meetings, and in‑person consultations
Collaborating with partners across the company to interpret and apply SEL policies, procedures, standards, Federal and State laws, and legal requirements
Documenting, automating, and improving leave administration processes and policies
Working with partners to understand and work through the interactive process for restrictions and ADA accommodations
Managing confidential files and other sensitive information with discretion
Conducting quality audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
Applying knowledge of FMLA/PFM and workers’ compensation to both straightforward and complex situations
Managing leave requests and related processes within Workday
Building and maintaining strong relationships across the organization
Working with various vendors regarding Leave, Workers’ Compensation, and Accommodations
Find purpose in supporting others with empathy during difficult life events
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Are detail oriented and organized, with a strong appreciation for documentation and continuous improvement
Enjoy building partnerships to educate, advise, and mentor others
Can maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment when handling sensitive information
Have knowledge of the laws surrounding FMLA, PFM, ADA and other leave benefits
