Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate master data for electronic and non-electronic components, ensuring correct part associations and data integrity.
  • Communicate directly with manufacturers and vendors to obtain missing or incomplete component data, including compliance and environmental information.
  • Collect, validate, and maintain regulatory and sustainability compliance data for PCB and non-PCB components.
  • Verify that all collected data is correctly matched to the appropriate part numbers, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintain and update reports, data records, and supporting technical documentation related to component data and compliance.
  • Prepare and track metrics related to data completeness, accuracy, and compliance status.
  • Identify data gaps and work proactively with internal teams and external partners to resolve inconsistencies.
  • Update and improve processes and procedures to support efficient data collection and data quality.
  • Communicate information clearly and concisely across cross-functional teams.
  • Follow and apply SEL values, principles of operations, and world‑class manufacturing principles.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data organization, validation, analysis).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including working with external vendors.
  • Ability to manage multiple data requests and follow through to completion.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new tools, systems, and processes quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with component data, BOMs, or engineering systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory or environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience with databases (SQL, Access, or similar tools).
  • Basic scripting or data automation skills (e.g., Python, Power Query).
Location and Compensation

Pullman, WA.

Competitive pay: $28.04 - $41.43 per hour (Data Specialist I).
