Managing Attorney

Northwest Justice Project (NJP) is seeking an experienced and dedicated Managing Attorney to lead its Spokane Field Office. NJP’s Spokane field office includes locations in Pullman and Colville.

Combating Injustice – Strengthening Communities – Protecting Human Dignity. This is an opportunity to take on a meaningful leadership role while helping expand access to civil legal assistance for low-income communities across Washington State.

The Managing Attorney is a key member of NJP’s management team and plays an important role in the statewide delivery of civil legal services. The position provides direct supervision of the unit’s legal and support staff, offering an opportunity to lead a team while contributing to NJP’s broader mission and advocacy efforts.

• A minimum of five (5) years of legal experience
• Strong litigation skills
• A commitment to providing meaningful civil legal assistance to low-income communities
• A willingness to support NJP’s mission and organizational commitments

This is a full-time position that may be based in NJP’s Spokane
, Colville
, or Pullman office. Regular travel between each office is required.

Salary range is $126,800 to $189,600 based on relevant experience plus a comprehensive benefits package.
