The OpportunityAs Washington State University’s Construction Manager with Facilities Services, you will oversee the work of consultants, contractors, and WSU staff. Your responsibilities include developing and managing budgets, directing construction activities, ensuring proper inspection of multiple minor capital projects delivered through Public Works bids or by WSU shops, and providing leadership, guidance, and oversight to staff while ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with university standards.

This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement.
Monthly Salary$5,000 - $7,567 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field, from an accredited institution; two (2) years related experience with demonstrated competence to perform duties; a professional license/registration applicable to the position specialty may be required. A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible construction related experience will be considered in lieu of the listed degree and experience requirement.
- Must have, or be able to obtain by time of hire, a valid driver’s license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
- Experience in higher education, public works, and/or General Construction/Construction Management contracting.
- Experience communicating with diverse constituencies.
- Knowledgeable of construction computer applications.
