Community Engagement & Events Coordinator
The base pay range for this position is $29.03-$42.11 Hourly, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Work Schedule for this Position:
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm
Position Overview:
The Community Engagement & Events Coordinator plans, coordinates, and executes internal and external events that strengthen employee engagement, community partnerships, and philanthropic support for Pullman Regional Hospital. This role supports employee experience initiatives, fundraising events, donor stewardship, and community outreach programming. The position collaborates with hospital leadership, employees, physicians, volunteers, and community partners to create meaningful experiences that advance the hospital's mission and strengthen relationships across the region.
A Day in the Life:
- Support the Employee Appreciation Committee to develop and execute meaningful employee engagement activities
- Support and coordinate internal employee engagement events such as All Staff meetings and employee recognition programs
- Track and coordinate employee participation in community engagement opportunities and volunteer activities
- Assist in developing long-term employee wellness and engagement initiatives that support organizational culture
- Support the New Employee Orientation experience to strengthen connection to the hospital mission and community
- Coordinate fundraising events and manage event logistics including venue coordination, vendor management, sponsorship support, and event timelines
- Plan and execute employee giving campaigns in coordination with the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation
- Organize donor stewardship and recognition events that strengthen relationships with philanthropic supporters
- Work collaboratively with employee committees and Foundation board volunteers to plan and implement events
- Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure successful execution
- Track and report on participation, engagement, and outcomes for events and engagement initiatives
- Manage logistics and participation in community sponsor ships and community partner events
About You!
This Job is For You if You Have:
- Associate's degree in communications, marketing, event management, nonprofit management, public relations, or related field or equivalent full-time work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event coordination, community relations, nonprofit development, or a related role
- Experience coordinating events involving multiple stakeholders, volunteers, or community partners
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with employees, physicians, donors, and community partners
- Strong event planning, project management, and organizational abilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-departmental teams and volunteer committees
- Strong attention to detail and logistical coordination
- Ability to represent Pullman Regional Hospital professionally in community settings
- Ability to learn and utilize new technologies and event management tools
- Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, track and report on event return on investment
A Wow if You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, public relations, or related field
- Experience supporting fundraising initiatives, sponsorship programs, or donor engagement activities
- Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, or community organizations
