Pay Range
The base pay range for this position is $89,145.47-$ annual; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Infection Control RN to join our small rural hospital team. The successful candidate will lead our infection prevention and control efforts, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
A Day in the Life- Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
- Conduct surveillance and monitoring for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
- Identify and investigate potential outbreaks and clusters.
- Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
- Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including infection control data and metrics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce HAIs.
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, guidelines, and best practices in infection control.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in infection control, epidemiology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of infection control laws, regulations, and guidelines (CDC, CMS, etc.).
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or similar.
- Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and data analysis.
