The base pay range for this position is
$89,145.47-$ Annual

Work Schedule for this Position:
Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Infection Control RN to join our small rural hospital team. The successful candidate will lead our infection prevention and control efforts, ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
A Day in the Life:
* Develop, implement, and maintain infection control policies and procedures.
* Conduct surveillance and monitoring for healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
* Identify and investigate potential outbreaks and clusters.
* Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure compliance with infection control guidelines.
* Provide education and training to staff on infection control practices.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including infection control data and metrics.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to reduce HAIs.
* Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, guidelines, and best practices in infection control.
About You!
This Job is For You if You Have:
* Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in infection control, epidemiology, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of infection control laws, regulations, and guidelines (CDC, CMS, etc.).
* Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
A Wow if You Have:
* Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
* Certification in Infection Control (CIC) or similar.
* Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and data analysis.
