Job Overview
The Quality Management Systems team is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Process Improvement to serve as the primary Quality contact for the Research & Development Division. In this role you will facilitate nonconformance investigations, lead the internal audit program in alignment with the ISO 9001 standard, and act as a subject matter expert for R&D-related processes. You will also collaborate closely with stakeholders to drive process improvements, develop and maintain documentation, create process maps, and deliver training on quality practices and other quality-related topics.
Responsibilities- Lead, facilitate and manage division-wide problem solving and process improvement initiatives to support strategic objectives and day-to-day operations.
- Support division leaders in understanding problems, causes, and solutions.
- Define and communicate value propositions to champion data‑driven decisions.
- Work with division executives to define, prioritize, and acquire resources and assistance.
- Lead business initiatives to meet operational objectives.
- Teach assigned teams how to use Quality Tools to drive continuous improvement.
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience problem solving in a team environment using disciplined process improvement strategies.
- Strong leadership, facilitation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in leading process improvement projects.
- Demonstrated ability to be self‑directed.
- Project management and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- ASQ Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or other ERP systems.

Starting salary for this position is projected to range from $101,880 to $150,556, based on the responsibilities of the role and individual qualifications.
