Product Compliance Technician - Product Safety
Provide technical support to customers and work in a state‑of‑the‑art test facility. Responsible for performing product safety tests, supporting Product Compliance and R&D personnel, validating and troubleshooting test equipment, developing and maintaining an in‑depth understanding of applicable standards, and identifying and improving processes and documentation.
Typical Day- Perform Product Safety tests and document results in accordance with applicable standards.
- Provide overall support to Product Compliance and R&D personnel.
- Validate and troubleshoot test equipment and setups to ensure compliance.
- Develop and maintain an in‑depth understanding of applicable standards and requirements for Product Safety testing.
- Seek opportunities to identify, measure, and improve processes and documentation.
- Two‑year electronic technology or related associate degree.
- 5+ years of experience with Product Safety compliance test methods and philosophies at an electronics development and manufacturing company.
- Hands‑on working knowledge of common Product Safety test equipment.
- Testing experience with one or more of: CSA/UL/EN/IEC 61010‑1, ‑2‑030, ‑2‑201; EN/IEC 60255‑27; EN/IEC 60529; UL 508 / CSA C22.2 No. 14.
- Self‑motivated / self‑starter.
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Programming skills and testing automation.
- Familiarity with Product Safety design mitigation methods and best practices.
- Familiarity operating within a UL DAP or CTF program.

PayHourly rate $35.00 – $52.00, based on location, experience, and responsibilities.
