Job Overview
The Community Ambassador is responsible for delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents in order to maximize occupancy year over year. The role guides prospective residents through the leasing process, supports resident planning, participates in marketing and community events, and meets sales goals as outlined by the Leasing & Marketing Manager and Community Manager.
Responsibilities- Understand the Housing Contract and all related addendums and communicate all information to prospective residents, residents, and guarantors.
- Conduct leasing tasks in accordance with LEASE Training guidelines, including generating new leads, completing guest cards, scheduling and conducting tours, and lead follow‑up.
- Assist in promoting the community via social media platforms and participating in on‑ and off‑campus marketing events.
- Assist with email and text campaigns in Entrata and Text Us.
- Represent the community and Landmark Properties in a professional manner.
- Maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in Residence Life activities.
- Escalate resident concerns/conflict as appropriate.
- Perform daily opening and closing checklists, model & tour route inspection, housekeeping, and maintain activity logs.
- Respond to internet and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner; enter maintenance requests; log packages and send resident notifications.
- Enforce community policies and procedures in accordance with the Housing Contract; report violations.
- Participate in all Turn‑related activities, including move‑in and move‑out days, unit inspections, and trash‑outs.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in a relevant major (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Information Technology, Public Relations, etc.) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Strong organization skills, reliability, and self‑discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours, including resident lockouts; availability during summer and Turn periods.
Work environment: moderate noise level. No travel required. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and talking or hearing. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
