Field Service Technician

About the Role

We’re actively seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver amazing experiences and elevated efficiency within the routine maintenance of Canon‑supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards.

In this position, you’ll be accountable for:

• Reporting product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager, ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping.
• Meeting customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, and on‑site maintenance.
• Properly maintaining all technical information, Field Service Reports, and Expense Reports.
• Showcasing strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
• Maintaining the performance of assigned machines.
• Facilitating performance at a level that helps achieve branch/district metric targets.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel.
• Ability to obtain security and/or other necessary clearances to enter customer premises.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
• Compliance with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination and related mandatory measures.

Compensation: $19.00–26.31 per hour. Eligible for a transportation allowance.

Workstyle:
Full‑time, on‑site; work required at assigned office, worksite, or territory on scheduled workdays.
